Cellfast awarded at Arena Design

Independent jury of the Top Design Award, made up of outstanding international specialists in the field of design, appreciated the ERGO LINE ™ watering system. The Cellfast product has been awarded at Arena Design - the place where the most recent achievements in the field of industrial design are presented.

Arena Design is the only place in Poland for business meetings of designers and manufacturers who set trends in the field of industrial design. The 8th edition of this event took place on March 8-11 at the International Poznań Fair.

One of the pillars of Arena Design is the Top Design Award competition, promoting products that stand out in terms of design, workmanship and functionality. The winners are selected by a jury of international specialists in the field of design, paying particular attention to the innovation and ergonomics of the submitted products. Bogumiła Jung, the chairman of the Association of Industrial Designers and the head of the Inspirational Design Workshop at the University of Arts in Poznań, chaired the meeting this year.

The Jury of the Top Design Award 2016 qualified 29 products divided into eleven thematic groups to the final competition. In the "Garden" category, the Cellfast ERGO LINE ™ watering system was appreciated for its excellent and consistent inclusion in the slogan of this year's edition of Arena Design: Project-Process-Product.

Arena Design is an event that clearly emphasizes the need for cooperation between manufacturers and designers. Over the past few years, Cellfast has put a stronger emphasis on design, and the cooperation between the design studio Kabo & Pydo and Cellfast Design Group resulted in the launch of new, innovative products that stand out in the market in terms of industrial design. Thanks to such activities, design is not an art for art, but a development strategy that allows Polish companies build a high position on the international market.

The exhibition of all the 2016 Top Design Award finalists could be seen at Arena Design. Nearly one hundred companies promoting design at the highest world level presented their offer in Poznań.
